Montreal Canadiens general manager Kent Hughes' stay at the NHL Combine in Buffalo was scheduled to end Wednesday.
However, the GM attended a dinner on Thursday night with young American prospect Logan Cooley.
Hughes finally left Buffalo on Friday, as reported by Guillaume Lefrançois of La Presse.
Cooley was not forthcoming with details about the meeting with the CH.
It's hard to guess what people are thinking, but the meeting went well.
