John Tavares can't believe he got penalised for hooking with 42 seconds left in a 3-2 loss to the Ottawa Senators.
After the game, he was blunt with reporters.
«Brutal. I mean I lifted the guy's stick!» Tavares said, per TSN, when asked about the call.
This is a penalty in the dying seconds of a game down by 1.
