Gary Bettman should take notes from the NFL

The NFL made a very nice gesture yesterday to the people of Quebec. As part of Quebec's bank holidays, the professional football league wished all Quebecers a happy Saint-Jean-Baptiste Day.
The comments, following this gesture, are very positive. In fact, as my colleague from the HabsEtLNH site, William Nadeau, mentions, many people point out the complete radio silence of the National Hockey League to this effect:
Quite ordinary, from the NHL, considering the number of Quebecers who play in the League, as well as having a professional team in Montreal.
