Ben Chariot on the verge of being traded
Elliotte Friedman recently stated that the defensemen might return a first round draft selection. Pierre LeBrun verified this during the Habs-Avalanche game on Thursday night, saying many teams are already phoning the CH for Chiarot's services.
''LeBrun at the intermission says contending teams are calling the Canadiens about Ben Chiarot, LeBrun adds he can absolutely fetch a 1st RD pick and expects him to be dealt by the trade deadline.''
It will be interesting to see if the club's new staff will be able to maximize Chiarot's value and who knows, get more than a 1st round pick!
