19-year-old junior hockey player Eli Palfreyman dies during a game
Sad news in the hockey world as 19 year old Eli Palfreyman passed away during a game last night.
The player collapsed in the dressing room during intermission. Every effort was made to revive him, but unfortunately, it was not enough.
« The Ayr Centennials regret to announce that our captain Eli Palfreyman passed away last night.
We ask for your prayers and support for Eli's family and each of our players. Our Centennials organization and the Ayr community are grieving.

Palfreyman was a former draft pick of the Peterborough Petes and had just been named captain of his team.
