Former NHLer Donald Brashear Defies Age and Thrills Fans with Classic Fight
Former NHL Enforcer Drops the Gloves at 51 Years Old
It looks like former NHLer Donald Brashear, at 51 years old, isn't ready to retire from hockey just yet.
For the fourth straight year, he's playing in the LNAH, a pro league based in Quebec. This league has a reputation for aggressive play and a lot of fighting.
Over the weekend, the ex-NHL enforcer dropped the gloves with Derek Parker, another tough player, renowned for having had over 500 penalty minutes in a single game back in 2005-06.
Brashear Can Still Fight!
Both players didn't throw many punches, mainly holding onto each other for a minute or so.
At some point, Brashear was able to throw a few hits and sent Parker to the ice.
Here's how the whole thing went down:
"Derek Parker vs Donald Brashear was not on our 2023 bingo card but the LNAH isn't canceled yet."
In his hockey career, Brashear had 390 fights, including 277 in the NHL with the Canadiens, Canucks, Flyers, Capitals, and Rangers.
