After he got drafted, Cowan said he tries to play in the style of Nazem Kadri and James van Riemsdyk.

As reported by Luke Fox:

"Easton Cowan says he tries to model his game after Nazem Kadri and James Van Riemsdyk."

Great Models

Both Nazem Kadri and James Van Riemsdyk had an important impact on the Maple Leafs.

Together, they played more than 1700 games in the NHL and cumulated 1236 to this date.

If Cowan can be like the two of them, the Leafs might have this year's draft steal in their pocket.
