One of the Vegas Golden Knights' key signings will be made official after an at-large insider has reported on the signing.
Knights To Sign Comtois
Insider Renaud Lavoie just announced that the Vegas Golden Knights will be signing Max Comtois to a PTO.
It was already in the news but Maxime Comtois arrived in Las Vegas last night. The @GoldenKnights is expected to confirm this week that he has signed a tryout contract with the team.
Comtois has had a turbulent career thus far but if he can find his footing in Vegas, he could emerge as a top-six winger.
Last year he scored 19 points in 64 NHL games as a 23-year-old. While this seems lackluster, he posted 33 points in 55 games as a 21-year-old showing his potential. If he can unlock it with the Knights, they have a key piece for years to come.
