Senators Caught Cheating During Final Moments of a Tight Game vs the Maple Leafs
The Maple Leafs secured a rare win in regulation tonight against the Ottawa Senators. However, the game was not without controversy.
Lights Go Out In Dying Seconds Of Maple Leafs Game
The Lights only went out for a couple of seconds, but it was more than long enough for fans watching on TV to notice.
The lights went out mid-play at the Leafs/Sens game😂
Senators Light Operators Trying To Sabotage Maple Leafs?
Some believe that someone in the building was intentionally trying to sabotage the Leafs as the Senators had possession of the puck in the offensive zone when the lights flickered off.
Senators lights guy tried to sabotage the Leafs but Joseph Woll and the Toronto Maple Leafs turn off the lights and send all 16 Sens fans in attendance home disappointed One former NHL player stated that the league needs to look into the incident. Although it does come across as a joke, the timing of the lights going out is indeed suspicious.
The Senators will likely ignore this as a non-issue. Expect to hear the team make some kind of statement blaming faulty wiring or something of that nature. That would be somewhat on brand for the Senators anyways.
