The Toronto Maple Leafs are all set to face off against the Tampa Bay Lightning once again in the first round of the Stanley Cup playoffs.

This time, the Leafs are hoping for a better outcome than last year when they were eliminated by the Lightning in a grueling seven-game series. Leafs General Manager Kyle Dubas made several moves to ensure that the team was ready to compete, including a blockbuster trade to acquire Ryan O'Reilly from the St. Louis Blues.




O'Reilly has already experienced the thrill of winning the Stanley Cup back in 2019 with the Blues, aswell as winning the Conn Smythe, and the Leafs are hoping that he can help lead them to the same victory in Leafs Nation."

O'Reilly gave a stone cold quote before the battle with the Lightning saying:
