Tragic accident takes the life of a 17-year-old hockey player: Mikayla McCarley
Tragic news emerged from a Minnesota High School hockey team, who announced the sad passing of one of its players yesterday.
Mikayla McCarvel was taken away too early. The Minnesota High School hockey player passed away after a car accident at only 17 years old.
With heavy hearts and profound sadness we share that our teammate, Mikayla McCarvel, passed away last night. Please keep her family, friends, teammates, coaches and all that knew her in your prayers.
McCarvel had a car accident three weeks ago, and passed away after a traumatic brain injury.
She played 42 games with the Minnesota High School hockey team.
We'd like to send our condolences to her friends and family.
