This wasn't the first time that the player did something like that.
CBS shared another anecdote involving Bedard:
"Prior to Sunday's game against the Florida Panthers, Bedard saw a young fan holding up a sign that said, 'Bedard, I want to be just like you!' That's when the Blackhawks' rookie found a puck and flipped it over the glass to the lucky fan."
At only 18 years old, this shows a lot of maturity and generosity!
A Tough Injury Halts Bedard's Great Rookie Season
Bedard got injured earlier in January and had to undergo jaw surgery. This is definitely a major blow to the Blackhawks' rookie, who's expected to miss six-to-eight weeks.
Even though he returned to the ice way earlier than many people believed, the timeframe for his official comeback hasn't changed.
He's currently training and surely eager to get back into it.
In 39 games this season, he scored 33 points, including 15 goals. While his injury will hurt his numbers, how many points do you think Bedard will have at the end of the season?
