The Leafs thought very highly about Fraser Minten when they drafted him 38th overall pick in the 2022 entry draft. They have even put on the record that he was worthy of a first round pick for their organization, despite him slipping into the early second.

Minten, a 6'1 center from B.C has had some amazing success in the WHL for Kamloops since he returned after injuring his wrist during Leafs training camp

Minten has managed to score 27 goals in the 50 games he has played and has gotten 58 points for the Kamloops

Minten scored a goal during the first period of last nights game. This goal was reminiscent of Auston Matthews style

Late in the first period, Minten got the puck in his own zone, dashed through the center, crossing into the other teams zone, deking out the defensemen before using a curl and drag shot, a shot that is often used by Auston Matthews, to score glove side on the goalie, who must have been just as shocked as we were.

Considering Mintens ability to produce more than a point per game, and his stunning ability to carry the puck up the ice, the Leafs could have montent Minten deep into training camp next year.
