Rasmus Dahlin Destroys Brad Marchand and All Hell Breaks Loose

The Buffalo Sabres and Boston Bruins took the ice tonight in a rivalry matchup. The game did not take long to live up to the name of a rivalry when a brawl broke loose.

Dahlin Destroys Marchand Causing All Hell To Break Loose

Early on in the game, Buffalo found themselves trailing 2-0 to the Bruins. Rasmus Dahlin went flying into a board battle with Brad Marchand and destroyed him with a huge hit.

This caused all of the Bruins and Sabres players to come to the defense of their respective stars. Dylan Cozens was pulling players off of a helmetless Dahlin.




This would set up a ton of drama heading into the last 2 periods of the game.

Bruins Get The Last Laugh

Despite winning the brawl the Buffalo Sabres would go on to get blown out by the Boston Bruins. The Bruins would add 3 more goals before the Sabres responded. They are currently up 5-1 in the third period.

Adding onto the issues for the Sabres is multiple injuries sustained by superstar Tage Thompson. First Thompson took an awkward fall and suffered what looked like a leg injury.



He would then return but take a puck off the wrist again having to leave the game. This time he has not returned from this injury.



The Sabres will need to get back on track and stabilize their play if they are going to make the playoffs this season.
