In the 2018-2019 season, Montreal Canadiens goaltender Carey Price agreed to the terms of an eight-season contract at $10.5 million per year, on average.

At the time, the goalie was 29 years old.

On Thursday night, Jonathan Huberdeau signed a similar deal with the Calgary Flames for eight years at an average of $10.5 million per year.

Guess what, he signed that contract, at age 29!

Do you think Huberdeau's contract will age better than Price's?

In 80 games last season, the Quebecer scored 115 points, the best season of his career. In 671 NHL games, Huberdeau scored 613 points.
