The fate of the Arizona Coyotes will be decided in May, and those against the new massive arena project have voiced their displeasure in less than favourable ways.

Bettman Addresses Vandalism

The tenure of the Arizona Coyotes in Phoenix/Tempe/Glendale will quite possibly come to an end May 13th.

This is the day where citizens of Tempe will decide if they want to help fund the major $2-billion arena development to keep the Coyotes in Arizona.

While it is too soon to know what direction the citizens are leaning towards, those against the project have made their stance known:

The location that NHL commissioner Gary Bettman was supposed to have a press conference at in Tempe, Arizona was vandalized with ‘VOTE NO' in multiple areas

The cites of Tempe and Phoenix have been at a feud over the #Coyotes proposal to build a new arena in Tempe. The city of Phoenix does not want them doing it, and Tempe has fired back with legal action.

Interesting situation.

Bettman needs to accept that his passion project may be coming to an end, but vandalism isn't the way to do it.
