Taking Shots at Shanahan?
Following the release of Dubas' statement, ESPN reporter Greg Wyshynski shared his intriguing interpretation of the situation.
"As a writer, I'm absolutely obsessed with 'what I consider to be reasonable and consistent, but private discussions'.
Reasonable = ‘My $$$ demand and request for more autonomy'
Consistent = ‘Shanny wasn't blindsided by the new offer'
Private = ‘He spoke. I'm releasing a vague tweet"

Private = ‘He spoke. I'm releasing a vague tweet"
While he didn't mention Shanahan directly, it seems like he took a shot at his former boss in one particular sentence of his press release.
In this context, the entire statement assumes a different tone. Did things truly go smoothly between Dubas and Shanahan? Do you think he deliberately criticized Shanahan?
