BREAKING: Controversial Former GM Peter Chiarelli Returns to the NHL
Chiarelli To Return With Ottaw
It was just revealed that Peter Chiarelli will be joining the Ottawa Senators after they are officially sold to Michael Andlaur.
According to Brent Wallace on @ComingInHotSens, Peter Chiarelli will be joining the Ottawa Senators.
"We all know he has close ties to Michael Andlauer, I think you're going to see Peter Chiarelli apart of this organization"

Chiarelli was formerly the GM of the Edmonton Oilers and is known for some terrible moves such as signing Milan Lucic and failing to make the playoffs with Connor McDavid.
It is currently unknown what Chiarelli's role with the Senators would be but it is not likely he assumes the role as the GM of the Senators as Pierre Dorion is a rather good GM.
It will be interesting to see what role he takes on and there are a wide array of possibilities for what it could be for Chiarelli.
